With mixed feelings, I am writing to formally announce the closing of KC Appraisals.
For the last 22 years I have been building KC Appraisals, and it’s been quite a journey. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed coming to work, meeting amazing clients, looking at the jewellery and most of all having your trust.
The fond memories of my time will follow me into the next phase of my life. Since the death of my husband last year, I have been reflecting on how I want my life to look in the future. Time goes by so quickly and so now I am transitioning from being a wife and appraiser to being Grandma (my favourite word) and building a new business as a Coach committed to assisting new appraisers as they enter the world of jewellery.
I will be closing my doors on June 29, 2024 and therefore wanted to give you, my clients, time to have your appraisals updated if you choose to have me do it.
Anyone who has not had theirs done in the last 3 or at the most the last 5 years, should be having them updated. The market has been volatile over the last year or so and thus you may find a difference in your appraised value.
I always have given a discount for updates and this year will be no different. My normal price for items, I have not done previously is $125 +tax per item however the updates will be done for $95+tax per item.

All appraisals are done by appointment while you wait or drop off and pick up.
